Quick Update

Hello everyone! So it has been two weeks since I wrote, and I know I promised that I would write again before I left. Here’s my dilemma: this is my last academic week of the semester, so I have a crazy amount of tests, presentations, and papers from today until next Monday. Next Monday or Tuesday, however, I should be able to find time to update you on the last two weeks of my life and post a bunch of pictures. Basically, I’ve finished up clinical and have been on two vacations, one to Mozambique with the nursing students and another to the Imfolozi game reserve for a safari. It has been absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Please keep me and the rest of the nursing students in your prayers for the next 7 days. We need energy and endurance to finish up this semester strong, and we also want to enjoy our last week in South Africa. I also need listening ears to hear whatever else God wants to teach me through this study abroad semester. Anyway, I’m flying into LAX next Wednesday, so I’ll be home in 10 days! Thanks so much for your prayers and look for an update sometime next week!

I just saw your Pops today and we were talking about the impact that the Sharpie Disposal Containers on improving the health care delivery system in S.Africa. May this be an inspiration to other students that walk in your footsteps... It is hard to know where to begin when the needs are so great, it is awesome to see you be used by God!! See you when you get back!!
