This is a blog to inform my family and friends about my adventures in South Africa, where I will be studying abroad with APU from August 28 to December 11. I have no idea what my schedule is going to look like there, but I'll try to update this as much as possible. I'm so excited to go and be a shining light for Christ to the South African people. I have a feeling, however, that I'm going to be impacted by them even more. Please keep myself and the rest of the group in your prayers!

I just saw your Pops today and we were talking about the impact that the Sharpie Disposal Containers on improving the health care delivery system in S.Africa. May this be an inspiration to other students that walk in your footsteps... It is hard to know where to begin when the needs are so great, it is awesome to see you be used by God!! See you when you get back!!
Nicole, I can't wait to spend time with you at Christmas break and hear about all of your exciting adventures. I will pray that you have a safe trip home and that your Mom can hold on for 10 more long days before seeing you!!!!
Hugs and Kisses,
Teresa (Matt's Mom)
